Morgan House Bed & Breakfast - Client Feedback

Divrgrl, Brampton - June 9, 2014
This is the perfect place to stay if you're not up for camping in Algonquin! Pam is a wonderful hostess and super friendly and helpful! The location is perfect not too far from town or the park and a great atmosphere with animals, ponds and friendly pets. The breakfasts are fantastic and huge and a nice change from the fryups at other B&B's. Definitely a place we would recommend and would love to go back again

We chose Morgan House because we wanted to give our Australian guests a taste of Ontario and couldn't have chosen a better spot. The location is beautiful, surrounded by forest, beaver pond, sugar bush (with sugar shack where the owners make their own maple syrup), with horses, sheep and chickens in residence in a great old barn with climbing wall and a sauna. When we arrived, it was snowing and deer were walking across the property- picture postcard! The house is an old stone farmhouse with big screened porch, wood floors, huge fireplace in the living room and two really charming, comfortable guest bedrooms- our guests were thrilled with it all. In the shared bathroom (which works really well if you take both rooms as we did), you had the choice of a big clawfoot bathtub or a shower with great water pressure. Pam and Hondo are very knowledgeable about the area- what to see, where to eat, and encouraged us to use all of the facilities the property offers. And then, there are the breakfasts! Generous and absolutely delicious. Lots for fruit, home-baking (muffins, scones), fluffy pancakes with their own maple syrup and applesauce, goat cheese and apple stuffed french toast, muesli, yoghurt- and Pam was kind enough to pack up the leftover muffins for us to take on our hike in Algonquin. Couldn't have been made more welcome or comfortable - we definitely look forward to going back!

We stayed here in December for 2 nights and loved it. Pam and Jamie are great hosts, very welcoming. Pam's breakfast was amazing every morning and she was very helpful in helping us plan our daily activities. This B&B exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend it

This is a great B&B - we had a great time here. Beautiful house and property, great informative hosts, amazing breakfast - can't say enough. We've stayed in many B&B's and would rate this in the upper 10 percent!
